Does it hurt to retake the ACT? I just want to know if I get a lower score on the retake if that will hurt my chance of getting into top schools. I got a 34 on my first ACT, and I did bad on science (which I don’t normally do) and my writing score is very low (I know the ACT has been having troubles with it). I have gotten 35s on practice tests, but it is not a guaranteed score. Thanks for the help.
