ACT retakes question

If I take the ACT 6 times, improving each time and landing at a perfect 36, would colleges see all the tries I take? Or would they just see the 36? And would they think the student is a try-hard?

Also, would this apply to superscoring?

Thanks!

No, but certain schools do require that you send all scores. But most do not.

Take it 10 times. It doesn’t matter. You can permanently delete any scores you don’t like.

For super scoring, you will send the test results with your highest score per section, that can be up to 4 tests. It would be $48 to send the scores per school if the high section scores were all on different test dates.

As sated above, unless a complete testing history is required, you control what you send.

Do you have a Writing score?

@HereToHelpYou Yep, I have a writing score, but it is very low. How does the writing scores work? Do they superscore?

It depends on the school, some schools don’t even require it.

Most schools will consider your highest writing score.

You are in a unique situation because the writing section changed in the middle of your test cycle.

I would call each school, don’t rely on the websites, and see what they say.
