ACT/SAT score reporting with Admissions office question...

My son’s ACT scores are better than his SAT scores, but he sent one set of his SAT scores to PSU when he took the test. He took the SATs 3 times and this is the lowest score; they do not have the scores for the other two sittings.
Will Admissions auto magically use the ACT score and ignore the SAT score since it is higher or should we call them and ask them to remove the SAT score from the file?

I had this exact same question about my daughters tests because she took the SAT’s and ACT’s and did far better on the ACT’s. I searched the FAQ’s on the MyPennState web portal and it said that they will automatically use the score that helps the applicant the most. I guess they see the others, but they only use the best one to add to the application.
