<p>Hey I was wondering what you guys did to get a great score on the ACT/SAT? I will for sure be taking the ACT and maybe the SAT. It just amazes me that everyone has such an outstanding score (33+) and seems like it’s nothing! The best score I’ve heard at in my school was 34. </p>
<p>I have the grades(4.0) and all the clubs/extracurricular activity/AP classes. I just don’t have the score, only a sophomore.</p>
<p>So I was wondering what you did to prepare for the test and what your score was?</p>

<p>Nothing except 2 practice tests, got a 33. With more work I would’ve been able to get a higher score I assume, which I should’ve done. </p>
<p>Take a practice test or two and see what you get on the ACT, and then go from there.</p>
<p>There is an entire forum dedicated to SAT/ACT prep on CC and I recommend you go there for advice. Needless to say you CAN “learn the test” and do better by studying for them. Some portions of the ACT / SAT (Science / writing) are pretty easy to improve your scores on by doing some practice tests.</p>
