I have had some serious trouble with the science section on the ACT and it is really dragging my score down… for instance last time out i got 34 writing, 34 math, 29 reading, 27 science… on three times I’ve gotten 25, 24, 27 on the science section… I don’t read the intro and I maintain a good pace and keep really focused… advice??

Bump bump bump

Personally I read through the intro, skip the graphs, and go to the questions. For every questions I look at the corresponding graph and check every answer choice. It’s all about analyzing. Not much help can be given. Just practice analyzing graphs.

Haha I kind of did the opposite of what you did Dallas… Skimmed the intro, look at the graphs a little, and then go to the questions. Whenever questions involve something that wouldn’t be on graphs, I would look for the answer in the intro. Make sure you don’t get tricked by the questions and maintain a steady pace so that you don’t fall behind. I think that for this section you need to pay really close attention to details.
