for the ACT science, is it better to learn strategies or go over the mistakes that you made? Because I realized that since there are so many different scenarios for each test, i thought that going over the mistakes won’t really help…

Try to focus on the kind of mistakes that you make. Is it bar graphs or the info in the paragraphs or conflicting viewpoints, etc.?

take one test untimed, if u get a good score, u just need to work on pacing ur self. You know the 5-6-7 thing, but i’ll go more in-depth. For 5 questions, skip to questions and look at the tables. For 6 questions, read the short paragraph that gives you actual scientific info, it is most likely the first para. This helps you gain some context, the other info can most likely be inferred from the graphs. For 7 questions, quickly skim over each viewpoint, then go to the question, see if u can answer the question, if u cnt quickly go back to the viewpoint and u shud be able to answer the question quickly. Overall, pacing is important, u dnt have to do a 5-6-7 method, u can do 6-5-7, see wat works for you. If u get a lot of mistakes with no time, go over answer explanation, notice where the answer can be found.
