<p>Could someone tell me how the scores are calculated? I know in reading for example, that there are 40 questions, but it is scored out 36. The scores are scaled, but is it a constant scale for every test; and if it is, can I estimate how many I missed on a section so that I can predict my score?</p>
<p>EDIT: I guess this would be a good time to ask this as well. What are the odds of being able to take the ACT off of the wait-list? My SAT tutor just canceled on me so I decided to try and take the ACT this Saturday.</p>
