ACT Score

If I received a 650 math and 520 verbal on the SAT, what should I be “looking at” for the ACT. I’m asking because I need a 27 for a scholarship I’m looking at. By the way, I know the scores are considered low on here, just so you know. :p

25-27

Would being in Calculus and Physics AP this year help my math score at all?

I’m no authority but I think the ACT math section goes through Algebra II and maybe some simple trig. Anyway, calc should help you insofar as you get more fluent with algegra in the course of working on calc. Since Physics also uses calc, the same applies.

I got a 670 SAT Math and 34 ACT Math if that gives you any means for comparison…

A 27 is definately realistic. I got 1320 SAT/34 ACT, so if the ACT just suits you better like it does me, maybe you could do even better than 27.

You probably already know all the math you need to know for SAT/ACT. Just need to do it faster. Practice, practice, practice.

notthatgood was that 1320 out of 2400 or the old sat score?
