ACT scores UF and UGA

Thoughts on chances with a 28 super score act applying out of state. Below UF’s range. Will it really put chances at a disadvantage?

You asked and I answered here - you included UT and UNC.

It’s the third identical post in an hour

UGA shows 29-34. UF 30-34. UNC 29-34

UT doesn’t seem to share but I found anywhere from 27/29 and 34. They are skinny on info. They don’t mention superscore and I see yes and no from 3rd parties.

The test is one part of an app so no one can answer but it will most likely hurt. But each school will still enroll kids with a 28 and below.

The good news is the far majority of students can attend many other flagships and leave with a similar career outcome.

We need to know way more about the student to give you a true chance but it’s not competitive in general.

Thanks

Yes! Someone removed my thread right away before I saw any comment. Thank you so much! I appreciate it:)

One cannot tell you based on test alone.

Do a full chance me thread.

I have been following UF admissions for a while now for family reasons. In the last few years, I haven’t seen anyone OOS accepted with a score that low.

I go to UF. I wouldn’t say it’s common, but I do know people who scored in the high 20s, in-state and out. But they were very strong in all other areas: gpa, essays, extracurriculars, etc
