I just received my ACT score and i got a 30. Along with that score, and a growing number of community service hours, a hopeful volunteer job in a hospital, a 4.0 unweighted GPA, one varsity sport, and 4 continuous years of schools sports (track and xc), how well do you think i’ll fare when it comes to applying to higher caliber schools (Stanford, NYU, Washington U, UCLA, etc.) ? My ethnic make up is a mix of caucasian and hispanic, im not sure if that’ll hurt or help me. thanks 
^^^ Get your ACT up to a 32 and apply as Hispanic if you have a decent chance. I had a friend who was black and applied to MIT with a 4.0 and a 2150 and was accepted.
i’ll try! im going to retake the act in sept, i just got my sat scores back and went from a 1790 to a 1960. ive still got some work to do. thanks for the insight!
