ACT; should I retake?

Alright. I’m writing this here since most of the Reddit nerds are literally SO toxic. I got a 35 on the April ACT, with a 31 in Maths. Since I will be applying to STEM majors, I have consulted some people who believe the 31 might look bad. I will be attempting to retake this October via standby testing. Assuming I get a seat, should I solely focus on Maths and then opt for superscore or should I sweat for each section? Furthermore, ACT with or without writing? Also, a reminder. The reason why I’m posting this here because the general response from Reddit was “Stupid”. “Kill yourself.” Please. No comments about WHETHER I should retake. Please just answer the questions as above. Thanks.

Edit: Incorrect thread title. New:

“HOW SHOULD I RETAKE?”

Thanks!
