ACT STUDY PLAN?

I am in dire need of some sort of direction. The SAT wasn’t really for me, I took a practice and got a 1400. While my GPA is, I believe, on par with some schools I am interested in… (3.73 UW, 4.0 scale) My practice SAT is not. I am interested in George Mason in particular and I know they have test optional option for students who have a certain GPA. This is going to be my last resort if I don’t get my scores up. However, there are other schools that require them and I want to apply there too because I don’t want ever have to think “what if applied there…”

BTW I plan on taking the June ACT.

I don’t think I am that dumb, but that SAT sure did make me feel like it. I have thought about it, maybe my school does have grade inflation?

ANYWAY…

The only book I currently have is the ACT prep guide (third edition). Can anyone help me figure out a study plan? I know I should take a practice test just to see where I am, but any other tips would be awesome.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

First, take a simulation test for the ACT and then determine which test is the right one for you.

I was the type of student that no matter how hard I tried, my SAT scores would not budge. So I took the ACT 3 times with the score improvements from 30 to 31 to ultimately 35.

Although I strongly recommend that you take the ACT AFTER summer, should you wish to take it in June, you will need a lot of practice. Use the red book in conjunction with the released exams from years before.

If you have any questions regarding the ACT, please let me know.

If I take it after summer, how many times can I take it as a senior before application deadlines for regular decision
