<p>Your score will probably look less impressive if it took several tries, but its not too big a deal. 3 times is fine wouldn’t try 4 though.</p>
<p>I think two is the acceptable maximum. Three is acceptable but it just seems like a lot. Four, no way.</p>
<p>I disagree with Steven. Two is not a maximum (do you even know what that means?) by any stretch of the imagination, it’s a norm for almost all students applying to Ivies and many other top schools. Perhaps twenty years ago two was a “maximum” but it’s hardly true anymore. I would say four is pushing it, five is too many.</p>
