ACT test need help

K this is my situation.I got 1540 on my SAT im not going to lie and i will agree it sucks.I want to try to take ACT.Lets say i get 28-29 on the ACT(thats what columbia univ requires). When ill send them my transcript with my good act and horrible sat score-what will they choose? And 1 more question if i take ACT do i still have to take subject tests if the college requires them?

I think most colleges would look at what they think is higher test score.

Usually colleges don’t require you to take the SAT subject test if you take the ACT. But you should double check with your school to be sure.

double check you mean call them?

also what does ACT composition mean? Please help me with these 2 questions(also one that upstairs:P)

bump…

Yeah, call them/ email them/ check on their website.

Composite score means the average of all four of your subject scores.
Like if someone gets English 30, Math 34, Reading 26, Science 30. His composite score is 30.

columbia does not “require” a certain score.
they will pick your higher score.
