Depends on what schools you are applying to. Supply a list, and I’ll supply an answer!

Virtually every college will accept either the SAT or the ACT. It’s up to you to choose which one you’d rather submit. In your case, submit your ACT score, as it corresponds roughly to a 1520 SAT (Math + Critical Reading). Just one question… did you take the ACT w/ Writing?

Your ACT score outshines your SAT score.

Yea with that kind of disparity I’d submit ACT only…

I want to apply to
UC Santa Barbara
UC Berkeley
Dartmouth
Columbia

are my main ones

the problem, though, is that my SAT scores show up on my high school transcript, so the colleges will still get them…will they just look at my ACTs, if I send them though?

Did you take the ACT writing test too? Since I live in europe, I can’t take the writing test and most colleges require it :(

Even though SAT scores show up on hs transcripts (they do that at my school as well), the schools can only process scores that have been sent directly from the testing companies. What you should do is only submit the ACT and have the company send the official document to wherever you’re applying. Because there won’t be a College Board document stating your SAT scores, they’ll get the idea.

ok thanks…yes I did take the ACT with writing…I still need to submit my SAT II scores though, right?
