ACT - writing or w/o writing..please help!

<p>Hey guys, about to register for ACTs in a couple of minutes…just wondering though, which should i register for, Regular ACT Assessment or ACT Plus Writing…i haven’t done much research on ACTs…but I didn’t want to retake the new SATs (one time is enough for me -<em>-). reason = my new sat scores aren’t so hot…i got 700 in writing -</em>-…so considering this score, should i try for ACT with writing? or just regular? either way, the 700’s going to show up on my transcript…</p>

<p>please give an opinion! any response is welcome…thanks so much :).</p>

<p>It depends on where you want to apply. Most selective schools will require writing section, so I would just take it.</p>

<p>wow…thanks so much TAWS…i didn’t realize that 0_o…that’s really unfortunate for me…so even if i took new sat with the writing section, i’ll still need to take the ACT with writing? oooh…thanks :D</p>

<p>There is a required English section of the ACT, so really it’s if you want the essay or not.</p>
