ACT + writing over SAT + Subj. tests?

I read their website but it didn’t really answer this for me. Instead of SAT and 2 Subj. tests, will they replace it with the ACT + writing? Cause from the site (kind of confusing), I got the idea that they would take the ACT + writing but still want 2 SAT2s (one of which is Math IIC).

that is correct (ACT+w replaces SAT I, but not SAT IIs)

Alright. Well in that case, I have no choice but to submit SATs anyways. But Stanford will take a look at my ACT score over my SAT if ACT is higher, correct?

That’s what they promise :)

will they consider the SAT I score as a negative factor then (would you be any worse off then if you had just submitted the ACT)? can you indicate you want them to look primarily @ ACT over SAT I.

submit what you scored better on. its as simple as that.

No, rence, it’s not as simple as that.
Obviously he would like not to submit the SAT scores but since they strongly recommend SAT Subject scores he basically has no choice.

Tennis, they say that they only consider the scores which make you look best and I believe them. You knewer know though…

Yeah, even if my ACT is higher, I have to submit my SAT scores because when I send Subject Test scores, it sends SAT scores as well.
