<p>Out of all the advice I read on ACT Writing, no one method worked for me…</p>
<p>What I did was made sure I spent the first five minutes–no more, no less–just planning. That was very important for me. If I just started writing I would never end up with an essay that supported my thesis. Secondly, I made sure I had two (not three) reallllllly good points so I’d have plenty of time to back them up. Thirdly, the conclusion. Lastly, I made sure I spent the last four or five minutes reviewing my essay (often times I would find my grammar was poor or a sentence was incomplete).</p>
