<p>Will a 36 on the Reading portion but an overall ACT of 28 reflect better than just at 28 where all of the scores are lower? Or is it really just all about the overall score?

<p>It depends. A 36 on Reading with a 28C means that you scored well under 28 in at least 1 other subject. There’s no exact answer, and it may even depend on your prospective major (i.e. A lit major may have an advantage with a 36 in Reading).</p>

<p>25 math, 26 on science and English; however, I got a 5 on the AP English Language test and a 4 on World and Euro. I would like to major in International Relations.</p>
