<p>Hey guys. I was trying to activate my UW email account and I have no idea how to go about doing it.</p>

<p>Ok, I had trouble with this too but figured it out thanks to some help from the IT staff.</p>
<p>First off, you have to activate your email. from your myuw homepage in the upper right click on “myaccount”. Then on the left under “manage____” click on “turn services on/off”. check the box that says “UW email inbox” and click continue. your email is now active and you can check it online on your myuw page.</p>
<p>now if have a desktop email program you want to check it on, you can use that page you linked and click on “1. email programs”. click on the program you use and follow the directions.</p>
