<p>Since the Common App doesn’t have any spaces for “non-scholastic distinctions,” I figured that for the my MIT app, I should insert things such as "captain of " into the description boxes in the activities section as well. But would it be better to place things like that into the non-scholasitc distinctions list, and leave more space for description?</p>
