I’m currently a junior looking for activities on campus. I have a car and am active off campus, but really want to take advantage of being a student at USC while I’m here.

I didn’t rush a sorority as a freshman, missed rush as a sophomore, and then rushed this year didn’t get into a house as a Junior (which came as a big surprise, I think being a junior and waiting so long to rush had something to do with it). I saw the Greek system as a solution to getting involved on campus and meeting people/partying/making friends/networking with USC undergrads, but now I don’t know where to look…I love to party, am social/outgoing, and have interests in art/design, marketing, music, & sports like snowboarding/skateboarding/surfing/dancing recreationally…

If anyone can help me with finding some interesting social activities on campus, please drop me a line here. I’m looking for the kind of thing that would be along the same lines as a sorority (close-knit girl friends, and guy friends too). A lot of clubs on campus barely meet (I’ve checked a lot of them out and been to a lot of meetings very low attendance, and so not the kind of social aspect I’m looking for). I am only a part of one club on campus at the moment, and see this as a big loss, because I know this university has so much to offer. Through talking with someone, I recently found out about the Ice Girls, a group of girls that cheer on the Guys’ Hockey Team, but have no clue how else I would have found out about this… so many hidden gem kind of things at USC, I just don’t know where to look. Looking for something FUN.

Advice? What activities do you know of that are good for networking/meeting social people/ partying/ fun activities/sorority-like etc? outside of the greek system for GDI’s. I’m sure there are a lot, so please share the obvious and the less obvious ones :-)
