Activity capitalizing?

I might’ve made a mistake in writing something on my common app. I said, “An injury sidelined me during my Junior year after I made the team”. Not sure if you capitalize “junior” in this context. Either way, I doubt it’ll make any difference whatsoever on my consideration, but I’d like to know if I am capitalizing it properly or not. Thanks.

"Do not capitalize freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior when referring to individuals, but always capitalize names of organized entities:

•Sara is a junior this year.
•Frank is a member of the Class of 1990.
•She’s in the Junior Class. "

From a quick google search. Since “JUNIOR” is being used as a descriptor, I believe it would not be capitalized. But you’re correct – no one will notice or care.

Yeah, junior would not be capitalized in that context.

Yeah, lol. But thanks though, I searched it up and I thought that the context was just a bit different.

Correct on both counts. It would not be capitalized in this case, but nobody will notice/care.
