My D is working on her common app activity section. She doesn’t know how many hours to list on activities that are related to a class. The class is leadership. She estimates 5 hours per week in class and 5 hours outside of class. Does she list 5 or 10 as hours spent? I’m thinking it’s just hours outside of class but want to make sure. Thanks!
I wouldn’t count the hours spent in class as an activity, so I would just say the 5 hours outside of class.
If the additional hours outside of class are really done for assignment/homework I wouldn’t count it at all since most classes have homework. I would only count leadership as something done that has nothing to do with the class.
