I always thought Marsh Plaza was a deserted place. I randomly checked BU Alumni Webcam, which shows the Plaza and I see lots of people! I dont know what they’re doing, but it seems like people are signing up for something. I know this is random, but for BU students out there, do you know what’s going on right now in Marsh Plaza?

Not exactly sure what was going on today. It has been different events going on every day, with lots of student groups showing up for some reason or another. Yesterday, it was BU Students for Israel running a fundraiser. Today I’m not sure. But Marsh was certainly alive today and it only gets better as the weather gets warmer. Its a great place to throw a frisbee or football in the warm weather.

I always go to smoke by Marsh Plaza so I’m usually particularly aware of what’s going on around there. Today I noticed a Habitat for Humanity event and I guess they were raising money or promoting another event but among the activities there was a “pie a professor” fundraiser and pie eating contest. not sure what the pie connection was but yeah there was a lot of excitement

According to my brother, it may have been a protest about scientology, because he saw a group of people in V for Vendetta masks heading that way, passing out pamphlets… But he could be wrong.

All interesting responses. There was one part when I saw pink and green (and other colors which I don’t remember) posters on the floor in front of the statue.
