Because one of my recommenders couldn’t complete the Common App. recommendation online they decided to do a paper rec. which I will be sending to Stanford. However, I also want to send a detailed activity list to Stanford; can I send this list with the recommendation or do I have to separate them?

Thank you!

You can’t send an activity list, they won’t look at it.

The admissions office explicitly told me that anything beyond the commonapp, even if you upload the file to the “additional info” section, will be tossed. You have to work with the 7 common app slots, and for really obscure activities you can give one or two sentence expansions in the additional info opening.

I know, I was mad too :[

Really?! That seriously bums me out!

what about attaching a resume?

From the Stanford website:

“Do not send additional materials (e.g. non-arts
resumes, etc.) as they will not be evaluated.”
