I’m a senior in high school and I’ve been told by various people that ivies such as Harvard, Columbia, and Yale are extremely difficult to get accepted in to but once you’re actually there, it’s not that difficult. However, for schools such as Duke, it’s very hard to get in and it’s also very hard once your there. Any thoughts on this?

UChicago is, by in large, regarded as the hardest school ever. Brown is very easy, if only because there’s no limit to the number of classes you can take pass/fail.

It depends on the classes you take, but any college is basically doable. Even as a URM (who generally get in with lower SATs/GPAs) you’re more than capable of getting straight As at any college to which you’re accepted, provided you actually try hard.
