Adcoms Question

I have a question, would an adcom from an Ivy league college, like Harvard, Yale, or Princeton take a h.s. freshman asking for advice or help with what I should do for the rest of my h.s. years seriously?

Lots of views but no replies, someone help me out plz.

I doubt a singular adcom would be of much benefit to you. They all have different standards and visions of an ‘ideal’ <insert college=“” name=“”> student. The values that they hold in common are those you see referred to constantly on this site and in books on college admission. Grades, Scores, ECs, Essays, Leadership Positions, Tough Course Load, etc. </insert>

You have a long way to go…as has been said countless times on this forum: enjoy high school, and wait a year or two to start the painful road of college admissions. Work hard, take courses that are challenging, and get involved in your school community.

they’re gonna basically tell u the same things that Entropic told you. Work hard, take a tough course load, do well, enjoy high school, aka stuff that you already know. However, there really is no one formula for getting into Yale. Browsing the decision threads will tell u that.

bpk1,
I highly recommend that you take up salsa dancing! If you are a young woman, learning an energetic and sassy dance style will increase your confidence. If you are a young man, well most women LOVE a man who can dance.
I jest not. Find something you love to do and HAVE FUN! Seriously.

I’m a guy, and I allready know how to dance(but not salsa), lol. Thanks for all your help.
