Hello,
I am a senior in fulton county, ga and i have already applied to colleges in georgia already.
However, I got into a car accident about 3 weeks ago and my right arm broke, which is frustrating because i am right handed.
i still have my cast and writing with left hand isnt easy. Ive taken 4 AP classes this semester, which doesnt help- I’ve done horribly in one of my science AP classes this semester and my injury played a huge role in making it difficult for me to study and do well in school. My medication for pain also made me groggy and tired so i didnt do well on the science AP class.
I asked for additional help to accomodate my situation. but there’s really only so much the teachers can do.
So my question is… can i write like a supplemental essay or addendum to the schools ive applied to to explain why i did horribly towards the end of this one particular science AP class? this class was challenging on it’s own but my injury made this situation worse.
Since ive already submitted my essay months ago, if i were to send them an essay explaining this situation, would i email it or send them a physical copy?
the schools i am applying to are not private schools but state, public universities- just additional information.
please help- this injury has been difficult for me emotionally and physically and I just want to explain the situation to them.
