If i want to self-report AP scores, is there any way to add it? The UVA admissions office is telling me that I can self-report scores, but there is no options under the test-score drop-down to self-report AP Scores?
In addition, I selected my Computer Science Teacher as an English teacher and once again contacted UVA. They recommended to have my teacher recommendation sent. I’ve already submitted it through common app though, so I’m not sure what they mean.
Lastly, I also contacted them regarding 1st quarter grades and was told I can once again self-report. There is no area where I can self-report my 1st quarter grades that I can see. Where would I self-report?
You can self report on the application portal page, not SIS. Although I didn’t see a drop down under self reported scores for AP scores. You can upload other info like grades in the area before that.
Do you mean the upload documents button? Would I just screenshot my grades from sis, or could I just put the grades in a word document and recalculate my GPA based on that? Since there’s no drop down for AP scores, can I just add it to my GPA document?
We also include what we do not want: resumes, writing portfolios, and research abstracts. If you want to send Q1 grades, that’s fine. Just know that the only update we require is a mid-year grade update. All application updates are submitted through the portal.
@“Dean J” , our guidance counselor mailed 1st quarter grades. Will those make it to the admissions file, or is it best to submit to the portal as well? Don’t want to duplicate and cause extra work for anyone…
