<p>@EmmyBet: I certainly don’t have a long list. I was only allowed to try out for four BFAs (again, for financial reasons), and while I do have some safeties, none excited me quite as much as the top choice school I mentioned earlier, which had a great BA program had I not been accepted to the BFA. It seemed doable financially when we spoke with a counselor from the school, so the low merit aid came as a big disappointment, and has left me a little heartbroken to say the least. We will be calling the school when they return from winter break to see what happened, but it’s looking a little dim at the moment. Outside of that option, very few of my safeties have wonderful theatre BAs, as my parents preferred my back-up options to be something outside of theatre. It’s all been a little discouraging, really.</p>
