<p>I will attend a state university this Fall but want to transfer to a private school next year. I will keep my current major but am thinking of adding another major. Is this possible?? Will I be behind??? Many thanks!</p>
<p>This is a super vague post. If you’re talking about adding engineering to a history major your sophomore year, then yes you’ll be behind. If you want to add a finance major to an econ major, then you’ll probably be fine. </p>
<p>Adding another major depends on the university’s requirements. Some, like University of Washington make it incredibly difficult for an electrical engineering major to add a major in computer science. Others allow students to major in whatever they want without having to apply to a specific school in the university.</p>
