I don’t really have anything else to add for “additional info,” but I thought it would be nice if I put a list of books I read there. I’ve heard that other colleges want one, and I think it adds to the picture of who I am-- I love reading and the books I’ve read really further reflect my interests. Would this be alright, or is the additional information section mostly reserved for explanations for a drop in grades, further elaboration on extracurriculars, etc.? thanks

I don’t think you need to do that, as there is a section on the Stanford supplement that asks what you favorite books/movies/songs are. You should use that, rather than the additional info section, because that is reserved for things that really need explaining.
