What are the fundamental differences and advantages (if any) between an additional major and a second degree? Do grad schools/employers prefer one over the other? In more context, I’m a neuroscience major looking into grad schools; I currently have psychology (a study that’s closely interlinked with neuroscience) as an additional major, and I’m considering turning psychology into a second degree. In addition, by my calculations, converting psych into a second degree would add another semester to my undergrad. I’m unsure if that would be a prudent choice.
Just double major.
