One of the reasons I plan on standing out in my application is through my writing, and my social justice work. One way that I’ve combined the two is through the creation of a “zine” (google it) revolving around race and gender relations in the wake of the general civil unrest in the past few years. Is it worth it to attach a copy of my zine to my application? Or will simply mentioning it as an EC be okay? I’m running out of space in the EC section anyway…

Describe it and add a URL. An attachment is unwise. Most forms are data dumped into the school’s own electronic templates. I’d imagine any attachments automatically get scrubbed.
