<p>does anyone know when those additional scholarships (remember having to do that scholarship app) for different schools, depts, alumni (crimson) etc are announced. i had totally forgotten about that until someone mentioned crimson on an earlier thread.</p>
<p>The student should be receiving a letter asking them to accept, reject, or defer decision on what scholarships they’ve been awarded sometime in March. If they applied for financial aid by the March 1st priority deadline, that statement should come in April. The accept/reject/defer is done online and a deferral means that they would have until May 1st to make a decision on accepting the scholarships. If they would like to have the scholarship, they should accept it.</p>
