Full Disclosure: Mixed A’s and B’s, All 4 Years and completed all A-G Courses
However, might receive a D in my current Senior year in Math
How impact-full will this be considering its non related to major
(Not due to “Seniorities” but factors include interest in subject, hardships at home and busy schedule)

Feel free to give your honest opinion or any school recommendations!

whoops i posted in wrong discussion group, not sure how to delete this post

Any D (especially in an a-g course) Senior year will be a reason for your acceptance to be rescinded so get that D up to a C or you may have not schools to attend next Fall.

USC/SCU/UCI/UCSB/UCSD: Reach to High Reach
UCSC: High Match
UCM: Match
SJSU: Low Match
SLO: Reach
CSULB: High Match
SFSU/CSULA: Safety
USF: High Match
USD: High Match

Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.40-3.79:

UCB: 2%
UCLA: 3%
UCSD: 6%
UCD: 15%
UCSB: 14%
UCI: 13%
UCSC: 59%
UCR: 78%
UCM: 92%

Your GPA and test scores are on the low side for the UC’s, some of the top Cal States and most of the private schools on your list. You should however get into a couple of the Cal States. Have you run the Net price Calculators on the privates? Your stats will not get you any merit aid and you may get some need-based FA but probably not enough to cover the costs of these schools.

Make sure you will be happy attending your Safety and Match schools. Best of luck.

I really appreciate your detailed response, thank you so much!

Update: Accepted and got a reply back the math grade won’t result in getting rescinded from, SJSU, SFSU, CSULA, and University of the Pacific.
Accepted and application will go through re-review due to grade: UCR
Waitlisted due to grade: USF (USF is top choice atm), UCSC,
Pending Admissions: UCM

Update: Will be attending USF for Spring term January 2019, optional but I plan on taking community during Fall 2018 just to make some credits so I can graduate on time of 2022

Congratulations and best of luck at USF.
