I’m a junior in a small town in East Texas and am wondering what my chances are of getting into a couple schools. At the top of my list are Dartmouth and Washington University in St. Louis. I also interested in Duke.

GPA unweighted ~ 3.98
SAT - 1570
8-9 AP classes
Extracurriculars:
- Debate all years, qualified for state and national tournaments
- Advanced 3-D art, local awards
- Varsity track and cross country, cross country captain
- Young Democrats club
- Art club
- demonstrated interest in environmental science, in process of getting my school to adopt the neighboring wetland and planning on attending an environmental leadership summer camp
- writing center tutor
Awards/achievements
- student nominated honor council representative
- class officer for student government
- probably ranked 1 or 2 in class
- debate speech captain
My essays and rec letters should be very good.
I’m not sure where to ED yet, but I know that will significantly help my chances. Does anybody have an estimate of my chances of getting into the schools mentioned above? Thank you.
