Admission Fee for the Doctoral Dissertation Research

Hello everybody,

I am pursuing a doctoral degree education in Turkey, Istanbul. I finished my second year, and passed the doctoral proficiency exam. Now I have already started to write my doctoral thesis. For the last year of my PhD education, I won the Fulbright Doctoral Dissertation Research Scholarship to continue my research in the States. The Fulbright Commission is going to provide me 35,000 USD for a 10-month period. So I will stay in the US for 10-months.

I am planning to do my research at Cornell University. I am not going to attend any classes or courses, I will just do my research with the guidance of an academician there.

Do I have to pay to Cornell University? If I have to, how much do I have to pay for 10-months?

Thanks in advance.

I am going to be a visiting student during my stay in the US.

I’d suggest asking either Cornell or your other school … they seem to be in better position to answer this definitively than a bunch of strangers on the net

@3togo You are right in a way, but there could be somebody who had already done it.
