How hard is it for an out-of-state student to be admitted?

Do they report how many out of state students apply and how many out of state students are accepted? I haven’t seen this and am curious about it.

harder than ice on a summers day in antarctica… yeah figure that one out

@foxshox, Actually, ice isn’t really that hard. In scratch tests, it is known to be about as hard as your fingernail at freezing point. And that is not very hard. By the way, on an average summer day in Antarctica the temperature of the ice is around -7 degrees C.

So, yeah, to quote you, it is definitely harder than ice on a summers day in antarctica. Although it can be scratched with a fingernail, it requires a high enough SAT score to make a noticeable dent. ;)

@MidwestMom, I tried to find the same information a few months ago and wasn’t able to find it either.

Actually, someone posted out-of-state stats in another post:

30% of out-of-state students who applied were accepted
