Admission for Scholarship...Disadvantageous?

Hi.
If I were to apply for scholarship (the December deadline), can I be rejected of scholarship but offered admission?
I’m worried that I’ll get rejected just because I wanted to get scholarship (if I was a qualified applicant otherwise).

I would like to know also.

Yes, it happens a lot. Well-qualified applicants are admitted whether they make the scholarship threshold or not.

Agreed- don’t worry about that. Not getting a scholarship does not affect your chances at all.

Definitely worth it to apply for scholarship. If your stats are competitive for the scholarships you are probably likely to be admitted, and it’s the scholarships that you’ll be crossing your fingers for.

What exactly are the kind of stats that will make one competitive for scholarships? I just need an idea.

So everyone’s saying that if I’m an average candidate who has a solid chance in regular pool, I would be rejected from the school since I’m not qualified for scholarship…
just checking

No, everyone’s saying the exact opposite of that.

Wow I’m an idiot…haha a sign I shouldn’t apply for scholarship XP

You should not not apply because you might not not get in. :)
