It makes sense but you must be realistic that it’s not really in the cards.
However you’d have a shot at programs in Europe, which would have a different “feel” than Programs in India. Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands have March or April deadlines. You also have the Polytechnique degree in English if you’re very strong at math and physics (which you seem to be).
OK, so do you need to run that startup in the country you are in now? Why not from India or the US?
Its not possible now since I received the offer 8 months ago.
Also I missed my main EC, me and my team partnered with the biggest bank in the middle east to reduce poverty in the country through volunteering. With the help of innovation, programming, data analysis, app development and banking we were able to complete this project. This project influenced thousands of volunteers in the country to come forward and help people with low income. (It’s a complicated confidential project which I can’t speak much off here)
So does this increase my chance ?
I don’t ECs make up for low SAT scores, and a 530 EBRW score is low for the Ivies. You’ll be competing with students who have great ECs and top scores. Apply if you want, but make sure you have academic and financial safeties lined up too.

Why not focus on that project?
If you get in some famous college, that’s wonderful, but doing good in the world is far more important. On your deathbed, you’re going to be far prouder of the positive difference you’ve made in people’s lives than whatever college you attended.
