Admission question re: Math grades

I am a rising senior (class of 2027). My top choice is CogSci at McGill in the Arts track so I’ll be applying to Arts & Sciences. I was a little devastated when I saw that the minimal requirement is A- for Math. I have a decent profile (3.85 UW/4.45 W w 12 APs, 35 in the ACT - 33 in Math), but with a weak Math profile (B/B+ in Pre-Calc and AP Calc BC). I haven’t gotten my AP test score back yet for my BC but likely a 4.

Is McGill pretty rigid about the cutoff of Math grades? Will the 33 in Math in ACT make up for my poor math grades?

Alternatively, management is my 2nd choice but even then the requirement is a B+ and I’m not sure how my B will reflect on the application.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
