<p>Quick questions:</p>

<p>Yale states that if you take the SAT, you must take 2 SAT IIs. It also states you can take the ACT instead of this.</p>

<p>Therefore it is okay to take the SAT and ACT, no SAT IIs?</p>

<p>Is that advisable? Should you take a couple anyway?</p>

<p>How does it look if you take SAT IIs in the same subjects you took AP? You already have the AP scores…</p>

<p>About the SAT IIs, most admissions officers say to take the SAT IIs that you’ll do well in…they never really mention APs in connection to this. I purposely took the US History SAT II because I was already taking APUSH, so it made sense.</p>

<p>you have two choices:

  1. SAT + 2 SAT IIs, or
  2. ACT w/writing
    either one is fine. or you could take everything, whatever floats your boat. and they don’t really care if you take the same SAT IIs as APs… i did, and i was fine.</p>
