Admission revoked??

Hypothetical situation: let’s say I get accepted EA, and on my midyear transcript I get one C(rest As and Bs) but my GPA actually goes up, do you guys think the admission might get revoked?

No, no I don’t

From Ted O’Neill’s 2009 convocation speech:

So I’m good? (IF I get accepted in the first place)

So I’m good?: Yep.
(IF I get accepted in the first place): But that’s the tricky part.

Thanks for that, idad.

Can’t wait for MY convocation speech.

you’re FINE. I got a c- second semester, and all of my other grades went down from 1st semester, and nothing happened. you pretty much have to fail all of your classes and/or murder someone to have your admission revoked.

yeah-- and colleges usually don’t go so far to revoke an admission even if you fail a few classes. They’ll have you write a letter, or put you on academic probation or something.

Friend of mine went to harvard and he took multiple C’s and a waiver-fail 2nd semester of his senior year (at my hs if you waived out too late you got a waiver-fail) and didn’t have any problems.

I think I got like a D in PreCal second semester, and still somehow managed to let them grant me a gap year.

So yeah, chill.
