Admission Scams that Never Die

<p>Got a letter today from something called the National Honor Roll touting the “prestigious award” that would bring our son “widespread acclaim”. If we only send in his biography, they will send a press release to college admission offices as well as putting him on some list of outstanding high school students.</p>

<p>Pretty funny, since our son is a junior – but in college, not high school. What list do these people operate from? But then, the Navy recently sent a recruiting letter to my husband…</p>

<p>Gee, then how embarrassing is it that my kids never received this??? Not even good enough to be a target of the scam? hhhmmmm. :)</p>
