Admission status page shows "Admission and Financial Aid Notification"

<p>I have a quick question:</p>

<p>My son applied to CMU about 10 days ago. The “Where Am In the Process” page shows the words “Admission and Financial Aid Notification” in red.</p>

<p>Does this mean that CMU has already sent a notification? Or do these words show up for all the applicants?</p>

<p>It’s doubtful that CMU would have already sent a notification as it is not a rolling admissions school. Contact the school to find out what exactly the red lines mean. Did you apply ED?
CMU will meet financial need only for ED applicants. The calculator should give you an idea of affordability as the school sticks pretty closely to the estimate or so I’ve heard. The package may include loans though. S is in Design CFA not CSC. CSC is the most difficult school to get accepted to but worth a shot.</p>
