<p>Are minors like Film and Global Studies hard to get into? I’m done taking all my required courses so I’m trying to take courses in spring for a minor.</p>
<p>I don’t think Film has any lower division requirements for it as a minor. I remember when I entered UCLA, I considered adding film as a minor, and to add a film minor(the information is on UCLA’s film department website) you simply have to take 2 upper division courses and once you’ve completed 2, you go to the department and just add it.
The same thing I imagine is the case with global studies(although I don’t know anything about their requirements, look at their website, everything is online)</p>
<p>Neither are, I know Film in particularly is probably the most popular minor at UCLA because it’s pretty easy to pick up, not to mention fun.</p>
<p>Global Studies requires you have a 2.0 I think, and that’s about it. I’m not sure about the required courses for Film… but for Global Studies good courses to take at your CC for it are the required Econ 1 and 2 courses, or the History/ Political Science courses.</p>
