Admission to UCs? (hk student)

<p>I have sent the application to 5 UCs recently. Yet, receiving a decision of “deferred” from JHU and U of Michigan frustrated me a lot. So I would like to know what’s my chance to get into UCs. </p>

<p>SAT I 1950
SAT II BIO-m 710
SAT II MATH2 750</p>

<p>For school grades, i have been ranked as the top 25% students in my grade for the last 2 semester.</p>

<p>It depends, you would have to specify which UC’s you are applying to, since each UC have different admission rates and etc.
The most competitive of all the UC’s are UC Berkeley and UCLA, its pretty hard to determine because they also take into consideration of your extracurriculars, essay, and all that stuff.</p>

<p>For the other schools, although they are still good schools, have higher admission rates so having those good grades is pretty much a match for the other UC’s.</p>

<p>But, I also warn that you are an international student, so the admission rate may be different and more difficult than if you were already in the U.S or especially if you live in California.</p>

<p>Well, i have participated in a great variety of extra-curricular activities, but not in great depth for each. I think my essays are pretty ok. </p>
