<p>I have sent the application to 5 UCs recently. Yet, receiving a decision of “deferred” from JHU and U of Michigan frustrated me a lot. So I would like to know what’s my chance to get into UCs. </p>

<p>What are your extra curricular actives because that also plays into the admission decision.</p>

<p>reach- you stats are lower than average, which require strong ECs and essays for you to have a chance
match- your stats are average or a little above, which require average ECs and essays to have a good chance
safety- based on the pervious behavior of the adcom, applicants with your stats are almost always admitted.</p>
